Welcome to the home of STAR swimming
      The Mission of STAR Swimming is:  To empower swimmers to become champions, both in and out of the water- Dreams, Dedication, and Excellence throughout a lifetime.

08/27/10 STAR will be starting back up the week of September 5th.
The Master Calendar is now posted. We made a few changes to the schedule. Please fill out the registration forms with your payment as soon as possible. Thank you and we look forward to seeing many of you on September 7th.
08/27/10 The STAR meet in October has now been posted.
Please remember that you must be registered for the 2010-2011 season to be entered into meets. Also as a reminder, once registered, every swimmer is automatically entered for each meet designated for them.
08/23/10 Final World Rankings for 2010
Congratulation to Courtney Otto who finished the 2010 season ranked 62nd in the WORLD in the 1500 free and 143rd in the 200 fly. Swimnews.com is the official keeper of the TOP 150 World Ranked swimmers.
08/23/10 STAR is ordering Latex swim caps with the swimmers name.
If you are interested in ordering any, please email Donna at dmruszaj@buffalo.edu before September 1st. Minimum order is 2. Caps are $5.65 each / 2 @ $11.30. Please remember that these are LATEX and not the Silicone caps. STAR may be doing a silicone cap order later on.
08/23/10 STAR has secured southtown pool space for both our Red and Blue teams.
Following the closing of the ECC Southtowns pool, STAR has worked towards securing additional practice time at a number of locations, including Lackawanna, Orchard Park, and Frontier. Although our efforts have been unsuccessful so far in Lackawanna and Orchard Park, we are expanding our practices at Frontier to include both red and blue practices. We will continue to work to obtain additional pool time to replace ECC south.
